Full Moon, Dirty Hearts was released in 1993 and is INXS' tenth album.
It is a wild untamed work of art with many strengths and memorable moments. Scorching single ‘The Gift’ (written by Jon Farriss and Michael Hutchence) is unlike anything the band had done before. Likewise, duets ‘Full Moon, Dirty Hearts’ (with Chrissie Hynde) and ‘Please (You Got That…)’ (with Ray Charles) broke new ground for the band and driving rock numbers like ‘Days Of Rust’ and ‘Time’ showed age had not slowed them. Recorded on the remote Isle of Capri with Mark Opitz again producing, INXS were furthering the work done on Welcome To Wherever You Are while absorbing and adjusting to all the new musical trends going on around them.
